One day just looking at skis I saw these amazing Line Shadow 2011 twin tips. I have the Line Shadows from 2006 and they're good skis but the art on the 2011 edition is outstanding. The graphic designers name is Hanna Boone, She is a graphic designer from Seattle and is doing pretty well.

David Choe

If you aren't born in a certain country but you still feel connected to it because of you're background can you say, "oh yes, I'm half french" even when you have only been there a few times?

Ben Tour

Love his work it is very inspirational. At Park Royal Shopping Center in the recently closed NorthHill there was a Ben Tour original as the cash register desk. Too bad that's gone... but the Ayden Gallery has some pieces!

Nanami Cowdroy

An edgy twist to traditional Japanese art. Nanami Cowrdoy's art reflexs her background of being Australian with a Japanese-European background. Beautiful ink work!

The Weekenders

The Weekenders are an up and coming Vancouver band who have fun songs that embody the beautiful city they're from. They are fairly new and they are a combination of Jordan Grant a talented singer song writer, the boys from Man Chat: Keillor MacLeod,Graham Russell, and Mikhail Din, and to top it all off Sally Arang who brings it all together with the glockenspiel. They recently opened for Said the Whale at Cambrian Hall. The Weekenders are a self-proclaimed acoustic indie folk band. If you haven't heard of them yet you should look into it because these kids are going to make it big. If you live in the lower mainland, on Friday November 5th at 4pm at the Vancouver School Board the Weekenders are playing for free for the Kids For Climate Action-Youth Rally.

Ayden Gallery

The Ayden Gallery is an awesome contemporary gallery located on 88 West Pender street on the second floor of tinseltown. They are currently showing an exzibit called "Robots and Monsters" from October 22nd to November 14th 2010. There is a wide range of artists in this show encluding my personal favorite, Mandy Tsung. Enterance to the gallery is free which is an upside if you go frequently. If you haven't seen it you are definatly missing out. Check it out!

White Rose Initative

Have courage, do what you know is right. Don't wait. Inspiration: get inspired.

Alot of organizations or clubs who raise money do it blindly. Helping people isn't going to come from the money it is going to come from the action. Not that money is a bad thing, money can help carryout an action. However this money can be used to carryout the wrong action or a less effective action then if you know what is really causing the problem. When you know the root of a problem it's alot easier to solve compared to throwing money at it. If something interests you look into it because you can easily become more interested as compared to if you just brush it off. You might have the solution to the problem. any problem.

Alexa Meade: examples of an outstanding Artists work

Here are some of Alexa Meades original art works...

Here is Alexa sitting with one of her installation models
the same installation being viewed in a gallery

 Her self-portraits are simply mindblowing.

My take on Alexa Meade

Alexa Meade is an amazing artist that pushes the concepts of dimension in her works. The idea of taking a real life object and painting it, then confining it to a photograph is a very new way to look at art. Her work is much more amazing then this small test I did on myself in these pictures. I really want her to come to where I live because I've seen that in galleries she has installation pieces with people and their background all painted in an impressionist sort of style. This is fairly eerie because everything has this image of being a painting except for the eyes which still have the glassy watery appearance of a human.
